An Evening with Rockett St George

I was so excited to be led through the shop floor of Liberty London to a hidden-away, wood panelled, back room a couple of weeks ago to enjoy the company of Claudia Baillie, design and interiors writer and editor (if you happen to read this, go easy on me!), in conversation with Jane Rockett and Lucy St George, founders of Rockett St George.

In case you didn't know, Rockett St George is an online interiors emporium selling a stunningly seductive array of unique and interesting homewares, furniture and lighting. Sourcing and designing a number of their own products, Jane and Lucy established the company in 2007 with £3500.00, a bookshelf of 'Business for Dummies' books and an enormous amount of passion. They started out by doing everything themselves from photography (Jane's original profession) and website design, to popping down to the Post Office to send out their orders! All this whilst maintaining day jobs and families, these industrious ladies managed to grow their incredibly successful business into what it is today - a badass brand which stocks the coolest stuff - now with a pop-up in Liberty!
