Spotlight on....Milan Design Week 2022

Milan Design Week is one of the most anticipated events in the world of design. Every year, designers, architects, and creatives from all over the world gather to showcase their latest works and ideas. The interim September 2021 edition left most wanting more so expectations and anticipation was high for 2022 and fortunately, Milan Design Week did not disappoint.

Full of innovative designs, breathtaking installations, and creative ideas that truly capture the essence of design, here are some of the highlights from Milan Design Week 2022:

Miss Dior by Dior

For drama, you couldn’t beat the exquisite collab between Dior and Philippe Starck. Situated within the stunning Palazzo Citterio the classic Dior Medallion chair was reinterpreted by Starck as a tribute to femininity.

Studiopepe x Galerie Philia

Always a big deal at Milan, Studiopepe joined Galerie Philia in exploring ancient culture resulting in beautifully elegant pieces. Positioned within a derelict factory in the Baranzate district it is always the juxtaposition of architecture and design the creates such a stunning display.

Daniel Arsham x Kohler

Presented at Palazzo del Senato Daniel Arsham provided an immersive experience demonstrating the potential of 3D printing. In collaboration with Kohler, the bathroom studio the installation walked you through the Palazzo courtyard whilst mirroring the journey of water through a sink.
