You know how you have those few accounts on Instagram that you actively seek out when the algorithm is controlling your life and not letting you see what you actually want to see? Well Harry Nuriev’s is one of those for me. The artist, designer, architect and visionary who founded Crosby Studios, will take you on a journey in his Stories. In 30 seconds you could be transported through 90’s Russia, futurism, voyeurism, fashion, pop culture and always colour, colour, colour.

Crosby Studios sit at the forefront of the design world and are paving the way to truly modernise our homes, shops and public spaces. Established in Russia in 2014 by Nuriev, a then Architecture student in Moscow, Crosby Studios have successfully created interiors for residencies and restaurants throughout the world, designed unique products and collaborated with international brands such as Nike and Balenciaga.

Their blueprint is streamlined and minimal and blurs the line between art and design. Electric blue, neon green and royal purple are used in monochromatic palettes. Shapes are geometric, themes are playful and the style is bold.

Crosby Studios more recent projects have inevitably moved into the realm of digital and AI. An augmented sofa for Nike, illuminated LED-screen planters for The Planter Show in New York and Instagram face filters for Cos.
